Mom, Dad, Aunty, or Grandma can take some time to complete errands while the child gets some time in a positive setting! Students discuss and participate in a creative coloring challenge and learn the importance of speaking positively about their lives with positive affirmations while being empowered to lead their best lives on a daily basis. $15 supply fee for the book—can be used for multiple classes.
The Rising Men of Douglasville is a program that has been established to help with community outreach and mentor youthful offenders by displaying values, character, honesty, and integrity. We are calling all men who feel the need to make a difference in our community! We will discuss community values, involvement, and commitment to change. If you want to partner with us to make positive influences on our young people, be a part of this group of leaders coming together for the good of the community. Come in and fill out an application.

The Bracelet bar is a hands-on “Experience” that includes a palette of Declarations in bead form, promoting emotional wellness. There are over 30 Declarations. Participants will decide on their declarations, assemble and intentionally live out chosen declarations as a personal commitment to living a harmonious life. Through the process of creating your adornments, you will dream of your future, and later wear your mantras! The Declaration Bracelet Bar is a tangible reminder to be the best version of yourself, an EXPERIENCE for personal and professional development. The Declaration Bracelet bar is for both adults and youth, with collections for all ages available. All beads are handmade using polymer clay. All supplies included.
The Douglasville Police Department invites everyone to fellowship together while discussing topics impacting our community. Discussions are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. (No 4th Thursday meetings in November or December, nor on holidays). We speak on local issues and work together as one for the benefit of the community. Join energetic and imaginative Patrice as she guides students through creative projects.
Every woman is BEAUTIFUL! The self-portrait painting class is designed to uplift and inspire confidence in women of all ages. All painting skill levels are encouraged to join in on this night of fun. All supplies included!
Free monthly educational field trips that are designed to keep students motivated towards their educational goals, reiterate what they are learning in the class room and create a positive environment for family engagement. Paid adults ($25) can bring up to 5 students at no charge. Admission, lunch and transportation included.
What’s better than Saturday brunch? Let’s add in a family day of recreation! Also, we will be unveiling our newest program: Rec-N-Roll. This newest park feature will connect with local neighborhoods and communities. We will also provide further details about how YOU can participate in our program. Come out and enjoy games, food trucks will be selling food + more.
